Terry's bench

This May, a beautiful memorial bench for keen allotment member Terry Staples (1939-2015) was was installed, just beside the new pond. It has become my favourite spot to quietly sit and watch for frogs and newts. To me, Terry was a loving and interesting friend who was always very helpful (especially on workdays) and happy to give me friendly gardening advice. I am very sad he is no longer with us.
